Economic system and its sensitivity

New methods of estimation of socio-economic development of regions in Russia
The paper presents results of the estimation of socio-economic development of Russian regions in 2008-2009 obtained by implementation of the refined techniques of integrated assessment. The author formulates proposals for improving the existing methods using indicators that determine the levels of regions’ industrial development by activity (mining, manufacturing, production and distribution of gas and water), agriculture, research and innovation capacity, and exposure levels of regional economic activity on the environment and natural resources and state of crime.

Quantitative assessment of methodological approaches and principles of strategy
of social and economic development of regions
In this research the considerable attention has been paid to theoretical aspects of management. Some methodological approaches and principles have been proposed to use for formation of strategy of social and economic development of regions of the Russian Federation. The principles of system approach have been added and the principles for other methodological approaches have been formulated. Results of quantitative assessment and analysis of realization of such theoretical principles as balance, transparency and interconditionality have been given. Results of the assessment have been recommended to be used for formation and correction of strategy of social and economic development of regions of the Russian Federation.

In the paper the purposes and tasks of the analysis, assessment and extent of realization of the theoretical principles of development of social and economic processes in regions have been considered.
